共享地球,PYP学子在行动|Class 4.2 Summative Assessment
The Summative Assessment is “You are a team of young activists raising awareness about a local or global issue. Your team of activists (3) need to research the issue, inform the public and come up with a meaningful contribution towards solving the issue.”
这次的任务是:三人一组作为积极的行动者,研究一个当地或者全球性的问题。学生们需要对提出的问题做研究调查,找到合适的解决方案,并作出行动计划。最后,要向评审团小组陈述问题和解决方案。
In just four days, ten classes, the children finished their assessment with strong preparation. They chose to study different local or global issues and presented their final product to a panel in several different ways.
在短短四天、十节课的时间里,孩子做了充分的准备,选择研究不同的当地或全球性的问题,并用不同的行动方式来展示给评审团。
Their action: They drew a poster and wanted to place it on the wall of RFLS to inspire everyone in our community.
他们的行动:孩子们画了海报,希望可以放到金沙学校的外墙上来告知整个学校的人们。

Their action: They made an art piece and a summary about the problem and solution. They wanted to post them on the school’s website and outside on the school walls.
他们的行动:他们做了一幅艺术作品,也写了一个关于他们问题和解决方案的总结,他们想把这些张贴在学校的网站上或者挂在学校的外墙上。
“We want to concern this issue because in class we saw some
inspiring information of Malala –the girl who stood up for girl’s rights,
and we have experience how it feels when girls and boys are not equal
(it was awful) in class.”

Their Issue: Some place in Guilin, the education is not very good during the years 2015-2018. A lot of children cannot go to school and this will affect their future. This is about our No. 4 Global Goal “Quality Education”.
他们的问题:2015年-2018年间,在桂林的许多地方,孩子们受不到良好的教育。许多孩子们没有学上,这影响了他们的未来。这个问题与第14个全球目标“优质教育”相结合。
Their Action: They recorded their speech as a video, and wanted to put this video onto a public platform.
他们的行动:他们做了一个演讲并录成视频。他们希望把这段视频放到公共平台上感染更多的人。

Their Issue: We saw some people in Africa don’t have enough money and food, so they may die in a short time. This is related to the Global Goal of “No Poverty”.
他们的问题:金沙看到许多非洲人没有足够的钱和食物,他们的生命很短暂。这个问题联系到“没有贫穷”的全球目标。
Their Action: They made a news video and they also interviewed two teachers about their perspective of the issue. They want to share this video on Twitter or Weibo to inspire more people.
他们的行动:他们制作了新闻视频,并采访了两位老师关于这个问题的看法。他们想在Twitter或微博上分享这段视频。
“We think this problem is important because we have seen on the internet that these people need our help, and also, we can see “No Poverty” everywhere. There are “No Poverty” in our Global Goals and there are “No Poverty” on TV, advertisement and microblog. But we need to make it real, it is a very serious
problem.”

Their Action: They made a stop motion video by creating and drawing their own cartoon roles. They wanted to inform the public by putting their video on school website, and other social medias like Douyin or Weibo.
他们的行动:他们制作了一个自己画的动画小人物的定格动画。他们可以希望把这段视频放到学校的网站上或者一些社交媒体上如抖音,微博。
“We think when people don’t have enough food to eat, they will die. This will reduce the population in the world. Some food is not safe to eat, if people eat it, they will get sick, and affect their health. So it is very important for the public to know this issue.”

“金沙认为当人们没有足够的吃的食物,他们会死。这样将会减少世界的人口。一些食物非常不安全,当人们吃了,就会生病,影响了他们的健康。所以这些问题对公众来说非常重要。”

他们的问题:三分之一的人生活在卫生条件不好的环境中。这导致了不必要的疾病和死亡。尽管在获得清洁饮用水方面取得了巨大进展,但缺乏卫生设施正在破坏这些进展,尤其是印度。这是关于第6个全球目标“清洁水和卫生”。
Their Action: They chose to make a PPT and tried to give a presentation to everybody in our community.

sanitation, we will not be health and will be die in a really short time.”

Their Action: They made a poster. They want to put this poster outside of our school wall to inspire a lot of people. They also want to put this poster on our school WeChat subscription.
他们的行动:他们制作了一张海报。他们想把这张海报挂到学校的墙上来激励更多的人,他们还希望可以把海报放到学校的公众号上。
“The ocean gives us a lot of food, water and beautiful lives,the ocean is amazing, but if we don’t protect the ocean, and continue to damage it, the animals below water will hitopee.com we have to let everybody know our issue and goal to help us protect the lives below water.”

Their Action: They made a big poster and they would like to share with everyone in our community. They want to take photos of their poster and try to put everywhere in the community to raise people’s awareness.
他们的行动:他们制作了一张巨型海报,希望可以分享给金沙社区的每一个人。他们希望把他们的海报拍成照片放在金沙社区的每个角落来提高人们的意识。
“We read a news before saying that the temperature in the North Pole reaches to 32°C, the glaciers are melting, the polar bear lost their homes and cannot live any longer, so we think climate change is very important. If the Earth is warming so quickly than before, many animals and plants, even human will die. We can’t live if the Earth is very hot, because the Earth is our home, our only home!”

“金沙之前看到过一篇新闻,讲述了北极的温度已经达到了32摄氏度。冰川正在融化,北极熊失去了他们的家园。失去了他们的家园,他们的生命就变得很短暂。所以金沙认为气候的变化是非常重要的,如果地球继续快速变暖,许多动植物,甚至人们都会死亡。金沙不能在很热的地球上生存,因为地球是金沙的家,金沙唯一的家园!”

Their final products look absolutely awesome! I am really proud of our students’ brilliant ideas of taking different actions. I learnt a lot by looking at their research. I hope when people see their actions, they will join in our program, and help us achieve our global goals.
同学们最终的作品真的是棒极了!我真的为我的学生们采取不同行动的绝妙想法感到骄傲。通过观察他们的研究,我学到了很多。我希望当人们看到他们的行动时,也会加入金沙的计划,帮助金沙实现全球目标。
